A little about me...
I'm a Speculative Fiction writer (i.e. I write horror and dark fantasy novels and short stories), but when the mood strikes me, I paint and paint until hours have obliviously passed. I never--well, rarely--have a design or plan when putting color to canvas. Instead, as I paint, I tend to see and follow shapes and shadows that evoke feelings within me; that bring up thoughts, and that open up various artistic roads I wouldn't otherwise follow if the piece were mapped out like a blueprint. Not knockin' The Planners. I just go with the roll.
